| After a 5-2 road trip, the Phillies come back home but twos are wild for the Rockies today for Colorado. Two runs in the 2nd, 3rd and 7th inning negate a Phillie 3-run rally in the bottom of the 7th leaving the Phils a run short on the scoreboard. Jeff Baker for the Rockies and Ryan Howard for the Phils carry the big sticks of the day, with Baker going 2 for 5, a double and homer, and knocking in 3. Howard goes 3 for 4 falling a triple shy of the cycle and knocks in 3 including his NL leading 17th homer of the season. |
