Rockies starter Jeff Francis might have been kept in this game just a bit too long, as at already over 100 pitches and two out in the 8th he walks two hitters and Pat Burrell follows with a screaming 3-run homerun for the 4-3 Phillies lead. The other Phil run was unearned, as after a 2 out, 2 base error by Matt Holliday in the 5th the runner is knocked in.

Brett Myers came through with a solid 6 innings as the Philadelphia Phillies
beat the Colorado Rockies by a score of 4 to 3.
 
Philadelphia erupted with the game winning runs in the 8th inning scoring 3
runs.  After two were out Chase Utley keyed the rally when he drew a walk.
Ryan Howard followed and he drew a walk.  Pat Burrell then smacked a
three-run homer (his 7th of the season).  Brad Lidge was perfect in relief
and got the save, his 4th.  
 
The winning pitcher was Chad Durbin(1-0) who allowed 1 run in 2 innings. Jeff
Francis(0-4) ended up with the loss.  He gave up 4 runs and 5 hits in 8
innings.
