April 26, 2008 Pirates 9, Phillies 7

Pittsburgh starter Matt Morris helps his own cause with two doubles and two ribbies, while Phillies starter Kyle Kendrick has a horrific 2nd inning allowing 3 hits, 3 walks, a hit batter and a sac fly good for 5 runs. That pretty much decided the game right there. Despite the Phillies outhitting the Pirates 14-9, they fall two runs short because of ugly clutch hitting leaving 14 runners stranded on the basepaths.

Nice efforts for the 2-3-4 hitters for the Phils in the losing cause with Greg Dobbs, Chase Utley and Ryan Howard getting two hits apiece and 4 doubles between them. Just too bad they were left stranded on base the majority of the time!
