June 6, 2008 Mariners 2, Red Sox 0

Bartolo Colon gets his best start in a Sox uniform, but it's hard to get a win when you don't score any runs. The chances were there as the Red Sox leave 11 on base, but three Mariner pitchers combine on the shutout. Coco Crisp picked a bad day for an 0 for 5 performance in a leadoff start, as he grounded out with the tying run on base to end the game in the bottom of the 9th.

At Fenway Park, the Boston faithful were treated to an intriguing pitcher's
duel. Felix Hernandez(4-4) finally bested his Boston counterpart, Bartolo
Colon(2-2), by the score of 2 to 0.

Seattle tallied 2 runs in the 3rd inning when they had 4 base hits. That was
all the offense they were to need. Neither team managed to score after the
3rd inning.

Brandon Morrow recorded the save, his 4th. Colon was the loser. He
surrendered 2 runs and 7 hits in 6 and 2/3 innings.
