Jamie Moyer goes a nice easy 7 shutout innings for the win. Clay Condrey let the Braves back into the game by allowing 4 runs in the 8th, but the 7-0 Phillie lead made that irrelevant. Still a rough year so far for Condrey, as his ERA goes up to 7.39 after the shitty performance. |

At Turner Field the Philadelphia Phillies easily handled the Atlanta Braves by
the score of 8 to 4.
Philadelphia jumped out to the early lead in the first inning when they scored
3 runs on 5 hits. The key at-bat was by Pat Burrell who quieted the home
crowd when he laced a single plating two runs. Atlanta was out-hit by
Philadelphia, 14 hits to 10.
Jamie Moyer(6-6) went 7 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Tim
Hudson(7-4) suffered the loss. He gave up 5 runs and 10 hits in 5 innings.
