| All kinds of craziness at Fenway today with four Sox stolen bases, 16 walks between the two team and two costly Diamondback errors leading to three Sox unearned runs and basically the difference in the game. Justin Masterson has the worst start of his short career, but despite walking 7 hangs on for the required 5 innings and gets the win thanks to plenty of run support by his teammates. Dustin Pedroia continues his red-hotness, extending his hitting streak to 20 games. During that stretch, he is batting .409 with 26 RBIs and upped his batting average by 35 points to .300. The game pretty much changed in the Sox 4th inning when they bat around and score 4 runs: *** BOTTOM OF INNING 4 *** 0 B.Moss 6-10 5 Single b-1 0 1 C.Crisp 5 2 Base Error - 1B 1-3 b-2 0 23 J.Lugo 1- 2 5 Single 3-H 2-H b-2 0 2 J.Ellsbury 3-11 3 HBP b-1 0 12 D.Pedroia 5- 8 16 4 Single 2-H 1-3 b-1 SUBSTITUTE P - Leo Rosales 0 1 3 1 Stolen Base 1-2 0 23 J.Drew 1- 5 5 Single 3-H 2-o b-1 1 1 M.Ramirez 3- 9 6 Walk 1-2 b-1 1 12 M.Lowell 4- 5 6 Fly Out 2-3 b-0 2 1 3 J.Varitek 5-12 3 Ground Out b-0 |
