July 7, 2008 Red Sox 6, Twins 3

After an interesting 11 game road trip with an 11 game winning streak snapped and a no-hitter pitched against them, the Sox come back to the friendly confines of Fenway Park and rip out 14 hits against the Twins. Everybody except for Jacoby Ellsbury had at least one hit. Dice-K doesn't have much trouble getting his 9th win of the year going 6 innings. Jason Varitek shows his arm, as when the first two Twin batters, Carlos Gomez and Alexi Casilla get on base, he throws each one of them out at second when they both try to steal a base. Var has thrown out 45% of the runners trying to steal off him for the year so far.
